Haiku:
* * *
Midnight air is moist
Touched by flames and candlelight
Sounding off the spring
* * *
Tree was struck...again
By lightening in the springtime
It's ashes now...dead
* * *
Creation has force
That is so strong and binding
Seasons' own capture
* * *
Souls can run so deep
As oceans, rivers and streams
Height of spring is now
* * *
Self releases air
Too common to be noticed
As bees in the spring
* * *
Dead spring bulbs are gone
Shadows of a distant past
Nothing to grieve for
* * *
It's Will has been done
Blossomed, grew and then died
Spring cycle over
* * *
An inspiration
Will continue the next spring
Never really died
* * *
But fuller next year
Abundantly, now in bloom
Nature surprises
* * *
Tangible foresight
Spring garden will overflow
Flowers for many
* * *
Destiny abides
The careful planning of spring
Nothing can change it.
